Here’s the latest on Chloe from Sarah’s mom:
“Joel called yesterday and said that Chloe will be going home today. They will be changing her bandages at home and giving her medications. They checked into getting a wheel chair but they didn't have one small enough so they suggested they use a wagon to move her around in. She has to keep her leg straight so they want something that she can sit in with her leg out straight. It will take a few months for it all to heal before they begin to fit her for the prothesis.
Joel goes back to work today, too. Continue to pray for Joel and Kari. This will be a different time for them as they now have the care of Chloe. They will be living with Kari’s parents now for awhile.
Alex was able to visit Chloe in the hospital a couple of times last week. That really seemed to perk up Chloe and helped a lot. I am sure Alex knows now what has happened to Chloe's foot.”
Thank you all for your prayers! We appreciate you very much! I will post a few updates about how things are going in
Resting in His strength,
Sarah
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
