We are doing fine. But, we just received news that Sarah’s niece, Chloe, was in an accident with a lawn mower. She tripped and was unable to get up before the lawn mower pulled her foot in. Her dad (Sarah’s brother, Joel) and brother (Sarah’s nephew, Alex) were there, and are dealing with a lot of trauma and guilt right now, along with her mom, Kari. The paramedics were there in 3 minutes, and she was airlifted to the Baltimore hospital in 15 minutes. The surgery went well, but they were unable to save her foot. She will now have a prosthetic foot, but we are so thankful that it wasn’t worse and she has the best care possible. She is a fun-loving, joyful little girl. God has given her a strength and perseverance, and we are praying for full recovery. Infection is our worst fear right now, so please pray that there would be no infection and she would experience little to no pain. She will be 3 years old on July 25th. Thank you so much for your prayers and support.
