It has been a roller coaster these past few weeks, as we settle in to our new home, adjust to a new culture, deal with changes in Indonesia as well as at home with our family, and begin studying a new language. I have to admit there are days of frustration, doubt, longing to be “home,” and much confusion. Yet, I am continually reminded that I am not alone and my Lord is more than Sufficient to meet all my needs.
Psalm 94:19 “When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.”
Isaiah 40:14, 26, 28-31, “Who has understood the mind of the Lord, or instructed Him as His counselor? Whom did the Lord consul to enlighten Him, and who taught Him the right way?...Lift your eyes and look to the heavens. Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls each by name. Because of His great power and mighty strength not one of them is missing…Do you not know? Have you not heard? The lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

What a wonderful Shepherd we have!
"When I am ________, I will put my trust in You."
afraid, confused, doubting, worried, stressed, hurt, sad, facing new things.
I love this verse cause you can put whatever in there and the answer is always the same.
Praying with you, and excited for you.
