I tried helping by splitting the pieces of bark into thinner strings for her to tie on. Don't know if I really did that great of a
job, but she did use the pieces and say I did a good job. I told her I was going to stop after doing a few cause I was afraid I'd
ruin her skirt and then she'd have to get more string, but she was more than happy to let me learn how to "kapataii" anyway. Very
kind of her. :)
