We just heard that our friend, Otopina, is very sick right now. She is the wife of Daapoi (or Yusup, one of the main Bible teachers), and also Jennie's main translation helper. She is very pregnant right now, and is refusing to eat and drink. The Dao believe that when someone is sick, it is taboo to eat and drink. When the Dao get to the point where they won't eat or drink, it usually isn't long before they die.Please be in prayer for this dear friend, and sister in Christ and her family. (She also has 2 year old little boy) Pray that she and her family would remain strong in the Lord, and live without fear. Pray for Phillips, for wisdom, as they try to minister to her physically, spiritually, and emotionally during this time.
