Semi-nomadic

The Dao are a semi-nomadic people. I guess they could call us that too. In the last year, we have moved from our home in Dao to the guesthouse in Sentani. Then from the guesthouse in Sentani, to Hamilton. Then from Hamilton to an apartment in Durham. Then yesterday, we moved again from the larger apartment to the guesthouse. That's a grand total of 4 moves so far, and the moving isn't done. We are currently waiting for our visas to return to the field. We are unsure of our return date as of yet, but we know our God has it all under control. Please be in prayer for us as we sort out some health issues, do much packing, say goodbye, and experience many adjustments and changes. For our children to adjust quickly to a new place, and not feel insecure during this time. Especially, with so many moves already. There is so much to look forward to, but we don't want to rush ahead of the Lord's timing. We are encouraged these days with the following verse from Isaiah 26:7,

"But for those who are righteous,
the way is not steep and rough.
You are a God who does what is right,
and you smooth out the path ahead of them."
